Building on this solid background, HC SYSTEMS was created to provide specialized software solutions for shipbuilding and industrial engineering, combining HC GRUPO’s deep market knowledge with advanced digital tools. Through a strategic collaboration with Timetec Co., Ltd., HC SYSTEMS represents TTM, a software platform we consider a reference and a leader in the market for 3D CAD design in shipbuilding and plant engineering.
TTM is a Korean-developed 3D CAD system that supports multiple design environments, including shipbuilding design, offshore plant design, onshore plant design, and retrofit projects using point cloud data generated by laser scanning. Its architecture is built to enhance productivity, accuracy, and collaboration across all stages of a project.
Key features of TTM include high performance enabled by the latest Windows and graphics technologies, an efficient and intuitive user experience, and a relation-based 3D modeling system that provides strong competitive differentiation. The software is immediately deployable without the need for in-house ISO generation programs, thanks to the integration of PCS-GEN, and it includes all relevant standards required for vessel and plant design.
Complementing TTM, PCS-GEN provides drawing and modeling automation for pipe production, pipe supports, seat units, ventilation systems, cable routing, accommodation, insulation, and other critical ship and plant components. In addition, MINI PLM, a web- and mobile-based platform linked to TTM, enables effective management and publication of design information, work packages, and structured communication between design and production teams.
